ASSISTANCE IN ENGLISH LANGUAGE PUBLISHING
Clients from outside of the English speaking world who wish to break into the challenging Anglophone publishing market face significant obstacles. This is not just a question of translating work into English. Publishing in English requires adjustment of one's own language style to fit readers' expectations. It also can sometimes involve a complete overhaul of broader research/writing strategies, ranging from disposition of the argument, citation of sources, and the general rhetorical thrust of a piece of writing. Furthermore, publishing houses have their own unique style guides that can be difficult to master for the uninitiated. Working with non-native English speaking clients - especially from Italy, France, and Japan - I have helped turn proposals into publication-ready articles.
